Pila Pietre is a family owned and operated business started by husband and wife Brian and Krista Martin.

Pila Pietre means Stacked Stones. The name comes from a phrase that has held deep meaning to the Martin family for many years. Joshua chapters 3 and 4 in the bible tells the story of the children of Israel being instructed to cross the Jordan River to be able to enter the land that had been promised to them. This looked intimidating and impossible, but they did as they were instructed and began to walk toward the water. As they entered the water, it "stood in a heap" and they walked over on dry ground. Joshua had 12 men go down into the river bed and pull out 12 large stones to stack in their camp next to the river. He told the people that for generations, when the children asked "what do these stones mean?", they would remember the miracle that had been done for them.

Throughout Brian and Krista's life together, through every test and trial, they remind one another that on the other side of this battle, they will be able to stack another stone.
